Congratulations to Siddarth Kunapuli, our latest and 37th CCL graduate. Like Matt Wang before him, Siddarth qualified for a CCL graduation earlier but chose to wait until his rating went over 2000, the ultimate CCL accomplishment.

Siddarth joined CCL in 2017 when he was 7 years old. As a kid, he used to enjoy taking in-person lessons with Coach Alan not only for Chess but also to play with Teddy ( Alan’s pet dog ). It has been a memorable journey for Siddarth, with his accomplishments in chess, and none of those would have been possible without the training from his coaches at CCL. Thank you to CCL coaches Alan Casden, Vladimir Kizov, and Atanas Kizov for Siddarth's support in his successes. Siddarth also appreciates Aryan Balyan for teaching him the Nimzo Indian Defense, which he is continuing to play today, building upon the foundational knowledge learned from Aryan. Siddarth is glad to be part of CCL !!!

Key Accomplishments :

6-time Ohio state grade level champion from 4th to 9th grade.
K-3 Ohio state primary elementary champion.
Ohio State K-5 elementary champion and represented Ohio in the Rockefeller Elementary School Champions national Invitational tournament.
Tied for 20th place in 2017 SuperNationals K-1 & Tied for 15th place K-3 2019.

The skills developed in becoming a CCL graduate transfer to a successful future.  I am amazed at all of the accomplishments of CCL graduates in their future endeavors, which I am sure I will see in Louis' future as well.

- 1 year in CCL and earning a rating of 2000
- 4 years in CCL and earning a rating of 1900
- 5 years in CCL and earning a rating of 1800
